Decent springs...
What is every one runnin' for aftermarket coil springs? I don't want to lower my GTO, just get some aftermarket springs for better handling.

How much you willing to spend? Lovells, Pedders and Kings with Pedders being the most but all three are good.

Check the condition of the struts and mounts for the fronts when replacing the front springs. You need to pull and disassemble the struts to replace the springs so replace the worn bits at the same time. That and replacing the struts and springs at the same time will only require one alignment.
The rears you should be safe in doing just the coils and the shocks later, just be aware that the front is newer and will act a little differently. Not a huge issue, but just something to keep in mind.Dan Morris

I have the Pedders Springs 3/8" nose drop and 1" in the rear with the standard duty springs, urethaned the suspension, new pedders struts and mounts, along with new shocks in the rear. The OEM springs are 5 coil and the Pedders are 7 coil. Not only did the handling improve, but braking improved as well. The differenece between the two rides can't be compared as far as difference. Having stripped about 250lbs out of her has helped as well
