make sure he breaks the mold, so no one else is running with your custom badges...or customize it to "Sarge"

Big thanks to noky-goat for his help on the emblem size. Found out i'm right about where I need to be. I just have to fatten up the long bar a bit so it's 1-7/8"Last edited by third_shift|studios; 10-22-2006 at 05:09 PM.

hey guys ahad a few minutes so i took TSS's idea and CADed it (hope he doesnt mind)... i changed a few things mainly just for the sake of saving time in constraining and so forth (i can always put more time into it).. here are a few shots... the first shot doesnt have materia applied but i shaded the insets to show what it would look like if you sprayed it mat black and polished the paint off the high spots... and the second one is with aluminum applied to it... unfortunately i cant figure out how to shade the low spots and show material...
i tried to design it where it wouldnt be hard to clean out and where it is actually manufacturable (if someone had the means to do it)... all edges are filleted and its made from a 1mm peice of Aluminum... i took the measurements from the first pic that i printed out... i think it is 8cm long and prolly 3 cm high (not exact on this...)

i personally think it looks pretty good in the 2ng pic... and i dont know y i cant post pics... have to ask a mod about this...

Predator, for the sake of arguement, please take that off. I don't know if you were bored and just wanted to see if it could be made into a CAD or what, but I'm asking you to remove those and discontinue working on it for whatever reason you are. Sarge and I are in contract, we're setting out to reproduce these and I don't want you to get into a copyright issue over this.
Thank You.

thanks alot man!
I have a few machine shops that are taking a shot at it. best quote/product wins.
you ever seen the guy who does the ws.7/ws.9 emblems? He's just south of me, in Kentucky; he's got a laser cutter and can do color and blah blah blah. Hoping he comes up with a decent price.
another guy is the one who did my ws.666 emblem. He's "ok" but doesn't offer polished steel or colors. I had to paint mine.
