Royal purple oil changes makes me wonder as well.

Just got back from checking it out, pretty banged up. The body work was nowhere near done, the dents in the body were just slapped over with filler and never sanded down. Really needs to be all sanded down and gone through by someone who really knows what they're doing. Interior wasn't that bad, rip in the seat and console lid but the rest just needed cleaning up. No radio and the stock wheels were stolen from his back yard and the tires were near bald on the car. The royal purple thing did bother me but from what i could tell it was mechanically sound and no leaks underneath. I'll see how low he goes, maybe we can make a deal but i'm not going near his asking price at the condition it's in.
Have to wait and see how it goes

Seems like a pretty good deal if you can finish the work yourself. If you have to pay someone else, its not worth it.

Sounds like a good parts car, snag the drivetrain for a retro swap and part the rest of it out.

Always amazed when people buy these kind of cars/trucks and can't afford to run or even own them.

The ones that just don't care make me sick..
Saw a black 09 h3 the other day, "rimmed up" murdered out with a rattle can and it looked like the whole truck was shot with a shot gun. Every inch of it had finish damage.
2500 dollars worth of stereo though..

People like that always think they're on some "rare" gold mine when it's time to sell it too..

I don't think it would be too hard to find a better high mileage representation of an 04 GTO for the money..imo

Trust me on that. besides, its time the ss gets some more goodies and this would have got in the way
