chainge timing chain
hi
can i chainge the timing chain and remove the oil pump without lowering the crankecase???
did any one try this

you have to lower the front of the pan but it doesn't have to come all the way off. Loosen the pan all the way up and let it sit down on the k-member and that'll give you enough room to get everything out of there. When putting the oil pump back in take special care with the o-ring when installing. I wish I had a dollar for everyone that's pinched that oil ring and hand oil pressure issues after putting it back together.

Correct. Be REALLY careful with that o-ring. If your having to force the pick up tube on with force, its going to cut that o-ring. I cut mine the first time, but had a bad feeling and took it back off before moving forward. It's easy to do. Also, when installing the tube, its a great help to have a ratchet 10mm wrench. Also, stuff a rag in that area in case to drop that bolt *JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE IT OUT!*
