catch can question
I asked this in the general help section but since I own a GTO I'll ask it here too. I just installed a catch can by elite engineering on my car and was wondering if I really need to put the clamps on the rubber hose going into the catch can. The can has fairly long brass fittings with barbs and I can't get the hose off unless I Push with a srewdriver while yanking on the hose. The reason I don't want to use them is limited space, I could probably get them on the catch can but it would be impossible to get them on the throttle body and engine outlets.

I have them on mine but only on the can itself. They came with mine so I used them
I can't really see a problem using it without them.Rob

Thanks for the replies, for now I think I'll go wothout clamps and if I blow a hose off then I'll have to try clamping.

No clamps here just used a small piece of saftey wire and twisted it around the ends. That way in case of a small back fire it won't blow them off.
But I'm also so blowing BIG bottle.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
