broken stereo control on steering wheel
Can anyone tell me how to remove the horn cover so I can get at my stereo controls to fix them? Thanks Gregg

hey man sorry i missed your question and took so long to respond.
if you turn your steering wheelso the top of it is facing to the left, there are two holes in the back of it(spring clip releases) there is a special tool to pop them loose but a flathead screwdriver works just fine (thats what I used) after popping the two clips loose, turn the steering wheel so the top is facing to the right, pop the next two clips loose and the airbag (steeringwheel pad) will come right out.
as you take the pad off be very carefull, there is a wire spool and a few plugs that are pretty delicate in there.
while the wheel is apart goahead and clean all the contacts in the assembly hope I helped

If it's just the control playing up and doing stupid weird things like vol up = vol down i have a simple fix.
Just tap the back of the control with your finger tips.
Hit it a few times with force.
All should be back to normal.
Old trick we do here in Australia.
But if they really are physically broken then you would need to replace them of course.
