    Bought wheels, Need hub rings?

Bought a set of Liquid Metal Statics. They tried to use the hub rings, but they wouldn't let the wheel sit flush, causing one lug to always stay loose.

They installed them with no rings, and said to watch for vibration. They said it is perfectly safe to run them with no hub rings, if there is no vibration.

Any input? Do these wheels need hub rings if there is no vibration?
