That poor Vette I can only imagine how heartbroken the owner was.
I would be livid. I would be taking Jeff Creech's butt to court for anything and everything he had...

    Shhh! There's a
    hooker in the trunk

i cannot imagine being in that poor, poor vette guys shoes. just by reading his story, an intense feeling of anger swept over me. if i found out someone had been taking my car "for the weeked" i would promptly rip their head off and throw it across the room. and then to top it off, the car gets trashed. im in awe...

If anybody knows Jeff feel free to ask him over to respond. Man there are tons of pissed off people on numerous forums all with the same story dating back a few years to the present, Shit quality of work and outright bullshit seem to be the common links.....In fairness I would love to hear from him on just the few posted here in this string.

There was a female member on here several months back that would constantly sing his praises. I will try to remember her screenname, but I haven't seen her on here in a long time. This story is on tons of car forums already, his business/reputation is ruined by this.

DBA stands for "Doing Business As" and is an official, public registration of a business name. DBAs are filed with either the state or local jurisdictions. They're sometimes called "Ficitious Names", "Fictitious Business Names", "Assumed Names", and "Trade Names".

Basically, a DBA is the operating name of a business - a name that is different from your own name or the actual legal or corporate name (filed with the Secretary of State when the business was created). If a business is operating under any name and conducting any business in a name that differs from your own name or your company's legal, registered name then you must register DBA name with your state, county, and/or local jurisdictions.

I have known Jeff for over a decade. I have had him do work for both me and my parents without any problems. I will continue to do work with Jeff if needed. He is not shady at all.

One problem, although a major, shouldn't ruin someone's hard earned reputation. Seems there was more going on that what the original poster lead to believe.
