from reading the can it says it's a a "petroleum" based product. it also says on the bottle to add 1oz / gal of fuel, unlike the 1oz/5gal of tcw3.

i am no way tied to any sea foam distributor but it seems that some people swear up and down by the stuff.

even if you look at the cost difference of the tcw3, it's a better buy. here at wally world sea foam is about $9/16oz can. the tcw3 16oz bottle only runs about $2.50!

I bought a shot glass/measuring glass and just fill it and pour it into old fi cleaner bottles. It fits easy in the tank and you can easily alter the amount you fill.

He poped a valve cover off to show me it looked like it had less than 10K and the odometer showed 175 and I know it's the original engine. What say you ol' guru of all things oily? Ever tested that? I know diesel contains more oils than gasoline.
I've heard of that too, but never tried it.

Ok I have some real world results from running the TCW3 in my 92 Camaro for about five months last year. I say last year because its been parked since the fourth of July weekend. I had to get it smogged so not really knowing what to expect from ten month old gas, I drove it until I burned about half a tank, filled it back up, and then took it over to the smog place I use. I'm happy to say that the numbers were lower than they were two years ago and roughly six thousand miles. TCW3 is the only difference. So there you go,if your having trouble passing smog.....try it out.

    where did we all go

Lets see, my old dodge 318 at 300 k, finally let go with an oil pump failure, no tcw3 involved, was running tcw3 in the gas now for months and months and all was well there. I still use it now on my create engine, and in the mower. The cost of supertch 2 cycle has gone up , but hasnt everything else. Hope all of u are still having good results on 2cycle oil to gas.
Before my engine let go, all was well. I had just changed plugs after a year and they were nice and clean and no deposits on them. Yes they were worn, but I run hard hauling freight in my cargo van. sky:

PS Hey Sarge, u still out there somewhere.

I'm fairly positive it's gonna be ok, but can this be used in flexfuel vehicles running E85?

Should do more good with E85 than normal gas.

I believe our Flex Fuel '07 Suburban has a warning on the gas cap that states not to use additives with E85. This being said, I would certainly not hesitate to run TC-W3 in it with the E85.

Jeff, If I remember right the owner's manual on my '02 Camaro said no additives also.

Tell that to the gas companies that have been diluting our fuel with shit for the past x years. They didn't seem too worried.

I never checked the manual for the Trans Am on fuel additives -- probably says the same.

Its been a while since i've posted, and since then i have traded a vehicle and traded a couple atv's and acquired a couple new toys.....

well the F250 is no more, it shrunk, and lost a couple wheels in the form of a Harley Street Bob, traded 2 atv's for one newer one(Arctic cat mudpro), and bought a polaris rzr....

when i got the Harley, not knowing what kind of gas WAS in it upon delivery, i topped it off (apx 1.5 gal of a 4.8 gal tank, previous owner and owners manual both said use premium grade gas), and added 1.5oz of TCW3 (wally world brand). with over 3K added to the odometer i can pretty much tell how it's going to act with what fuel combo.
-premium, no ethanol, maybe .5oz in full tank, i'll get 55mpg with light cruising.
-mid grade, no ethanol, about .5oz in full tank gets about 50-52
-Premium with ethanol, and 1oz gets about 50-52mpg (no tcw3 gets about 49-50mpg)
-mid grade with ethanol, and 1oz gets 48-50mpg(no tcw3 gets about 46-48mpg)
-mid grade with ethanol and about 1.5oz gets 48-50mpg
If i'm with in the local area, i almost always fill up with ethanol free gas, when further away and out of town, i lean to the premium if it has ethanol in it. and yes, i will say that i'm sure air temps, humidity differences, driving conditions, throttle ect will have an effect on mileage as well, but i'd still conclude that adding it helps to some extent!

as for the RZR, it was used as well, we knew the previous owner and he always used mid grade he said. same thing filled it up added 1.5oz in 5 gal tank. i don't really go off mileage of course, but when i ran it down to fumes in the tank, i filled up a 2 gal can with mid grade ethanol blend, and poured it in. after i added that it would crank, hit once or twice and maybe stay running, or it might die then i'd have to crank it again, and it would stay running. all i did was add 1oz of tcw3 and the random starting issue went away. i filled the tank all the way up shortly after that, same gas, and still no issues. on a side note our friends yamaha grizzly 660 was/did the same thing, we added 1oz to his tank as well, and he said it seems to fire off quicker than it did before, and no issues with a sputter then restart.

i really didn't notice anything with the arctic cat, but i added some anyway.

with the daily driver honda accord, i honestly don't have a set routine with it, if i go a couple fill ups and don't add any, i'll add 2-3 oz on my next fill up, and call it good. the car runs a lot better than when i first got it, i put about 10K miles on it with intermittent usage with good results i'd say.

i keep some added to the V10 Excursion as well, it gets used more on the weekends, and for a work-UV, so if i fill up with a few gal i just add 1-2oz and keep on trucking....

    sorry for the long post!

    DEEP BLUE
    2005 GMC Serria 2500 HD

    Hello all,
I been thinking about this oil and gas thing since my cousin told me about it. It makes perfect sense to me.
So, After spending a week in the UP of Michigan, burning up 1 gallon for 100 miles on a newly rebuilt ski doo
motor, and feeling really good about a great break in. When I got home I bought a qt of 2cycl w/tcw3.
I have a GMC 2500 HD SERRIA lugging around a 6.0L. it has about 139K on it and was getting around 11 to 11.3
mpg around town. after only 1/2 a tank I have been able to get 12.8 to 13 mpg, the idle was at 900 rpm's and has settled
down to 700 rpm's. I have nothing to gain by misleading anyone on my numbers, so they are factual. and I have posted here because
I seen how much everyone like to hear about it. I can't wait until I get thru the 4th tank to see if it improves anymore.

And the Harley is looking at drinking some 2 cycle to.
