    Sounds like maybe the tune was a bit off. Maybe too much timing or lean hammering the rods/bearings. Still have a piston to look at?

    $1195 for the Stage 2's or 3's. Hell there almost paying you to buy them. I really want a set. That would really bring the SS to life. And they will work when I upgrade motors so it is not a waste of money.

    I dont know Sarge...Eds got some things in the works...but it should be intresting to see how you both compete with each other.

    I'm gonna be carefull with my 6.0 it is under warranty with less then 600 miles on the gto so it is getting a polished stainless steel catback from magnaflow tommorrow--and i am taking 3 day weekend to get my nitous hooked up with illuminated red rapid fire purge---can't wait!

    Hey Rob...you win the prize...last tune it felt "different".....I spoke to the tuner and she was adamant I was running an A/F of 11's across the rpm band.....well when we pulled the first plug all I saw was speckles (lean)....and yes the piston (No.7) was fried.....so lesson is....get a tune and get a second A/F from another dyno when playing with the big boys....I suspect her PC/Dyno was out of whack.....
    Come to find out...the shop that did the last tune....building was hit by lightining 30 days prior and fried the mother board.....oh great....I just lunched a $20K motor and now you tell me.....I aint gonna say no bad words here...they are good people....but I am buying a new motor aren't I?

    Nah...just cruising....really...no Spray...No WOT...nothing...just cruising....the spray aint what killed this motor....valve spring killed this puppy...
