ASA ST-1's
Hey guys,
I know this is not the forsale section, but these are GTO specific wheels, and thought someone here might want them... I will repost in the FS section too.
I am selling my rims, I just bought new rims, but if anyone wants them, $500.00 for all 4 and I believe 2 of the tires would still be good. At least for 1 more summer. The other 2 are pretty much shot, the right front is bald on the inside, and the right rear is bald. The tires are Stock BFG's. 245/45/17's.
Here are the pic's. Some minor pitting, and a few scrapes, nothing major, just the normal wear. Overall I'd rate them Good to Above average.
Buyer pays shipping + 3% paypal I'll be taking these off the car on Friday 1 August.

Bump... New price $475 and 3 of the 4 tires are OK. The rt front still has tread left on the inside, and could be swapped for one of the back 2.
This one is bad,
The rest are pretty decent

Those are good looking wheels, but WTF is wrong with the tire. I have never seen such wear pattern. What happened?

I am really not sure, I didn't rotate them like I should have, and the right rear seems to be driving more than the left rear. My buddies goat does the same thing too..
I just bought new rims/tires so, that Is why I am selling these things. They aren't cheap rims either, Back in 05 they retailed for over 250 dollars per rim. They are direct stock size replacement.. I would weigh them, but they still have the rubber soo I dunno, but I imagine they are lighter than stock though.

My goat wears out from the middle of the tire to the inside edge. This of course, is from the GTO's negative camber setting. Middle of the tire wear usually indicates over inflation. But I have never seen tires wear out a 2" strip down the middle and yet maintain decent outside edges. Interesting.

I ran the proper inflation, maybe it was all the raw power, making the wheel bulge in the middle like the Top Fueler's.
