    anybody heard of this ??

    o4 gto the radio just comes on from time to time an wont shut off when i turn the car off ? its destroying my battery ! any ideas what the problem might be ?

    Oh yeah.....turned out to be a bad ignition switch. Lots of 'em had this. Sometimes you can blast some graphite powder in the switch and it loosens up the plate. It is the plate that is causing the problem. Try the graphite first. Get a tube at Home Depot and squeeze it in there (the ignition switch) and see if it cures the ghost radio problem.

    Also found out there is some kind of elec box above the glove box and if it hangs down like mine did it will cause a problem with that system, pulled the glove box, used a screw off the blower motor and installed a clamp to hold it up and no more crap!
