    alternator location, chassis ground

    Hello all..

I am going to upgrade my wiring for my electrical in my 2004 gto.

I put in a new sub and amplifier combo that is dimming my lights... there are some posts on sounddomain.com that say the best way to help with this is to upgrade the big 3 wires in the engine compartment...

    1. Batter ground to chassis.
    2. Positive battery to alternator.(fused)
    3. Engine to Chassis.

So, call me dumb, but where is the alternator on the car? I have been trying to figure this wiring system out and I cannot seem to..

Any thoughts would be very helpful.
