    2004 Pontiac GTO

    Air bag de-activate on 2004 GTO

    I have got a bent in front inner bumper (the heavy steel bumper);don't know how it happened. I bought the 2004 GTO new in May 2004. the outer bumper cover came disloged. I must have got hit in a parking lot or it was done before I bought the car and they just replaced the outer bumper cover. I'm going to try and pull the inner bumper out with a come-along, but want to de-activate the air bags first. Is there an easy way to do this,(like pulling fuses or something). Any help will be appreciated.

    All you should need to do is disconnect the battery and wait about 10 min
