4L60E compares to '06 GTO trans
Hey guys I own a '02 Firehawk and I have the 4L60e transmission with my Procharger.I was wondering what transmission the '06 GTO has and how it holds up compared to the 4L60e.One of the guys at work is installing a magna charger and was asking him how the transmission was going to hold up with 450 to the rear wheels.Thanks - By the way my transmission has been rebuilt once already - 38,000 miles

Impulse Blue Metallic- 04 GTO
The 05 & 06 GTOs have the 4L65E it is almost the same as the 4L60E but with a few stronger parts and IIRC different electronics.
