233/239 595/603 112 lsa.
dads finally getting a cam, and so far this is what i have come up with.
he does not want too really drag race it..just wants the really nice lopey idle and hotrod sound. most of his fun is had on the streets and highway. (DD)
my question is have any of you GOAT heads had experience with this cam? and does anyone the stock length pushrod in an LS2? and will it be ok too use stock length pushrod with this cam?
more information on car. it is stock other than 3" X-pipe with magnaflow mufflers. 6spd so if the RPM range is moved up a little bit and sacrifice some low end torque that is alright. he does not like going from digs as it is to hard on the car (and for him too figure out lol)Last edited by TmaxicanA; 09-05-2010 at 08:35 AM.

Yep!
Hey there TmaxicanA!
Yes, you'll need a longer push rod for your camshaft application.
Typically the vendor you get the cam from can suggest a rush rod for you that would match that cam perfectly.
Does it REALLY matter? No.
SHOULD you use longer ones? Yes.
Will it hurt anything if you don't? No; but you won't get all the performance outta your money if you don't.
See my LINK from earlier this year, there was a lot of great discussion here!
Good luck, and have a blast!----
