    1/8th mile time

Pulled off a 8.213 at 89mph last night. I had pretty significant traction issue, but was still happy with the result. Is this around where i should be with the amount of work ive done?

That calculates to a 12.87 1/4 mile time which is about where you should be with tire slippage.

Drag radials. I like Mickey T's myself.

I thought having the wider and stickier nt05s would help, but they didnt make much of a difference.

Its all about tire pressure and compound when trying to put the power to the ground.

I had the rear at around 18psi. Lower?

It depends on the tires compound but 18psi is a good starting point. Drag radials also allow the sidewalls to flex thus aiding the contact patch for more grip.

You can drop the pressure in your rear tires down to the low to mid 20 psi range at the track. Increase the front tire pressure to around 40 psi for less rolling resistance. This being said, nothing beats a set of purpose built track tires.

Had the car back for a week after the new stall and it feels like a different beast altogether. Still has good street manners, but romp on it and it takes off like a freaking missile.
