04 diblo predator questions

I have seen several used predator tuners for sale on e bay and such. What should you look for beside that it is unlocked. are there differant models for the 04 gto. has the system been updated, can it be updated Any thing else I should look for. Thanks

If you are stock, a U7193 is for 04's. Buying it used or from an unauthorized dealer means no warranty and comes with the posibility of it being locked to another vehicle.
If you have headers/cam you would need the SLP version.
Diablosport used to charge @ $99 to update it but I'm not sure if they do it without a receipt from an authorized dealer.

just have a cai and an exuast. So a u7193 is what I want no matter where I get it from?

Yes,that's the one for 04 GTO, GM truck, C5 vette, Hummer H2, and 03/04 SSR.
Depending where you buy it from, it may or may not have U7193 on the box. Mine is from Granatelli Motorsports and has a label with 993917. It has a RWTD (running with the devil) tune in it.
