I know on the LS2 cars they're different and I believe they're different on the LS1 cars too. The rears are flat connectors and the fronts are square.

You are correct Orion, the rear have a flat connector and the fronts are square.

I'm almost positive the front and rear plugs are the same on the ls1

Sorry mark but you are incorrect. The rear have a flat 4 plug and the fronts are a square 4.

Thats funny that you actually went and looked. I cheated and got on my parts link I use at work and looked at them.

yup...they were diffrent..but a little splicing made it fit perfect..I changed them this last week and got way better MPG..and my idle was pretty sweet..thanks

mods: custom built twins, built 408 w/l92 stock GM heads,GM matching intake,drag bags,frame ties,aluminum drive shaft, performabuilt 4l80e,Yank converter,ohios fastest and quickest 04-06 GTO 9.52 at 144mph. 1.50 60ft on stock rear end and shafts/suspension,on drag radials.
