    Thumbs up Z06 vs LT1 TA W/heads,cam,gears,stall,exhaust

    #1 - from a dig to 90mph / Z06 by about 6 cars
    #2 - 20mph to 95mph / Z06 by about 8 cars

He was headed to an 1/8 mile track but he had two passengers so he could have done alot better without them.

I'm putting 390-400hp to the rear at 3,300lbs. Even if he's putting 400hp to the rear he weighs in at 3,700lbs unless it's stripped and I noted that he had two passengers which is another 300-400lbs. Every 100lbs is guestamated to be .10 seconds in the quarter and I didn't say he had slicks. He stated himself at the light that his tires were shot. It was all in good fun and I stated that the playing ground wasn't equal. Peace out.

Hey calm down there tough guy, i didnt say anything about this not actually happening, i was just asking questions to get the race to look more accurate in my head lol. F-bodys laso weigh from 3400 and the verts weigh up to high 3700s, if it was a z28 with t-tops or hard top it was probably 3500. I asked about the tires cause i thought they had to be bad. Not a good way to go to a 1/8th mile with blown tires lol.

My 01' WS6 spec said it was 3,700lbs and it was aluminum engine and block. Any ways I wasn't mad I just wanted to make it clear. I'm waiting for my tires to wear a little more before I go to the track. They cost too much to do burn outs while they still have tread.

Yeah i ran a 12.8 with 250x, im getting drag radials over winter and im taking the motor apart doin the cam and heads and intake manifold, 4.10 rears gears should be good for mid 11s. My supra already runs mid 11s, im trying to get into the 10s over winter.

I should be in the low 12's and could probably hit high 11.90's with DR's

I know its a C5Z. People have hit 11s before on drag radials bone stock. He had a nice little list of mods which are probably good for an additional 40-50whp. Adding that to a low 12 second car means it should be in the 11s no problem, without drag radials.

Nah, Ive seen a few run and the were all mid 12s, wit his mods and drag radials i would say hes in the high 11s with his mods without the tires i would say lows 12s possibly very high 11s.

Well around here, Ive seen 2 in the same day, one bone stock, one had catback intake, both go 12.0-12.3. Both trapped 115-116mph.

Yes of course. Neither had drag radials. I guess its just who we've seen go, but there are guys that have gone 11s just about bone stock, so its definitely possible. It will pretty much come down to traction and driver, because the power/weight is there

11's are possible, but very, very rare for a stock c5 Z06. They're solid mid-12 second @ 114-116mph cars - off the lot.

I'm getting better on the stick. My 01' WS6 w/A4 had me spoiled. I haven't mis-shifted in a while and I'm getting better at not bouncing off the rev limiter but I still haven't mastered the happy launch. I either under rev or go up in smoke. I guess my favorite race is from a roll with my TC in Competitive mode.
