In this extreme rare instance, he is actually correct. That sounds weird doesnt it

The S2000 responds horribly to mods, sort of like a 350Z. Intake, headers, exhaust, etc add a miniscule amount of power. A complete waste of time to modify unless you wanna blow some serious cash on a forced induction setup, and even then, they arent that fast.

I was talking about a stock camaro out handling a S2k, I know they suck when it comes to mods.

lack of displacement and technology. You see honda spends all their time and money on blinky lights, Vtec systems, and other neat gadgets that are pretty much uesless, when they forgot car technology 101. THERES NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT. Higher number > lower number

Well its small displacement in the first place that already has an extremely high flowing head and the stock exhaust and intake on it are already pretty good so that leaves only so much to do to it. Its not easy getting 120hp/per litre out of a naturally aspirated motor so in order to do that, the engine has to be pretty "modded" in a way from the factory. This in turn makes it difficult and costly to modify.

I guess its like taking one of our modded cars, then re-modding it expecting 10-20hp gains from each re-install.

Pretty much. Its like trying to modify a modified car LOL. You can only so far with 2.0L and no FI, N20, etc.

Well the only reason I even thought it would be a decent race is cause he has such a high gear ratio... The intake & exhaust never cuts it!
