    Yellow 05/06 Goat

If I hadn't spun I'd of had him. He had exhaust that i could tell and man, what a clean car. It was the ls2 version because of the hood and exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper and he ran right along with me in 2nd gear after I had hooked. He might have been inching away. How do ls1 f-bodies usually fare against these things? I'm not sure but I think my injectors are not properly tuned and that I'm running rich still but he pulled that car when i shifted to second and there we stayed until I saw that I wasn't going to close the gap and let off around 80.

found some threads... the ls2 goat is good for high 12's stock? so with a few boltons he should have been in the mid 12's and i was hangin on pretty good. I'm happy with that

from a dig the F-body has the advantage but from a roll the GTO will USUALLY pull a little on the top end of course this is both being close to stock. Either way good run.

Good run! A bolt on T/A should have no problem against a stock LS2 one. Either way its a close match in power to weight ratio.

So I should probably look into leaning the mix out a little bit more. Thanks!

I would recommend getting LTs and then getting your PCM tuned that way you can get a little more hp, better exhaust flow and the tune will lean you out.

Yeah... headers are in the works. So far, since I already had HPTuners and a few credits, I've only spent around $1k on the car, including the 400 I just dropped on injectors. Money's real tight and with 160k on the clock, I have to save up for that random huge expense. I could use a good set of LT's though, don't doubt it.
