    Yeah, that's suckers got the torque though. Those cams made a drastic difference. The heads made it flow significantly better, but I don't think anything can really help a 2-valves top end.

    I have raced 97-99 aftermarket blown cobras. And the race ended the same everytime with me being the winner. Cam only A4 here. Now 03/04 Cobras with no mods yes I beat. With just a pulley and belt they get close. Now add some power adder WAIT it already has a power adder. Okay upgrade the blower or add nitrous and then they kick me arse bad. The 03/04 is the only current stang to keep up with the LS1 IMO. Is the LS1 the king of motors nope.

    They are some cam only ls1s goin 10s, which is what upgrade and ported supercharger cobras run.

    Its kind of hard to say, casue there are some mustangs that are really quick even for the GTs, other are slow.

    I guess its more common to see the so called "factory freaks" with the mustangs

    No its just drivers, a GT with 260hp stock can run high 13s, most people i have seen have trouble getting out of the 14s, with bolts ons mid 13s should be a good goal. Had a friedn with a 02 GT, ran a 13.8 with intake, headers, exhaust and some other stuff he told me but those were the hp mods. He wanted to race me which im a full second faster it looked like 10 or more cars when we raced. Hes not a bad driver, probably not the best but i think he shifts pretty good.

    as I believe the Factory Speed Limiter is set at right around 137mph nearly 140mph... on the 99-04 GT's... last time I was in a GT it was a 96 with every bolt-on posible, I was still too young to own a car...so it felt "fast as hell"... to me... back then...(but we never went past 90...)

    I mean they can do high speeds of 140+ im sure, but not having top end doesnt mean you car cant go fast, i had my friends stock 240sx up to almost 140 but I wouldnt say that car has top end. Its not how fast you can go just how long it takes you to get there.

    - FRP Heads, fully ported by Rex Hutchinson Race Engines down here in Sacramento, CA
    - FRP 3-piece Intake Manifold also ported by Rex (which I believed took some modification to fit his 99??
    - Sean Hyland Motorsport custom cams (not sure of the specs, but there very agressive)
    - SHM Long Tube headers w/ 3" collector/ 3" Off-road X-Pipe/ No Mufflers

    That's all i'm aware of, don't know exactly all of the little nick nacks??

    He is not the only one to make power in a 2-valve like that. MM&FF also did it years ago. The car has amazing torque and acceleration, and will run right with me from about 0-70 when i'm off the bottle. After that, it's over for him. My top end is way too much for him. I'll admit though that he does beat me in the sound department. His car is probably the best sounding ride i've ever heard ( Please Don't kill me for saying that )

    Mustangs do sound better, Unless your a cammed ls1 with straight pipes and a huge waste gate for your turbo lol
