Your car with 400+ rwhp should easily walk one. Nice job.

Don't worry Justin, it's not a Canadian thing. It's an old fart thing. We have always referred to manual trans cars as "stick cars" since the 60's. Just short slang if you will.

The youngins here come from a different era. Some pick up on it, while others have their minds in the gutters thinking it's something a chick would say,,,lol.

Sounds fairly close. I've raced a couple of them now. On the street to about the speed you did, and I had the same results, but I'm not making anywhere near 400 rwhp though.

Raced one at the track 3 times on a track day. He had a procharger on it making something like 480 rwhp. Nice guy to talk to, we were part of club day. Both of us on stock street tires.
He struggled with 13.30's but ran 118-119 mph out the back. I ran 12.90's at 110-111 mph. Beat him to the stripe every time, but he was coming fast

    Then it's a stick car.

Like I said, some of you guys are young and don't grasp it. It's terminoligy that's been around for 50 years, and probably won't change for some of us.

It's all good. What can I say, Hammer is from Canada. I can't imagine the car culture being as big as it was here in the states throughout the 50's and 60's. They probably don't have alot of the terminoligy up there that we use down here, eh?
