On my way to work, window's down, jam'n to super joint ritual, i notice a 06 GT in my rearview so i pass a car, he follows, then i get caught behind a slow car, then he and some ford ranger fly by me. Well, they end up next to each other at the light, they start talking, mustang rev's so does the ranger-lol.
Anyways, 06 GT, Convertible, all clean good looking car, had an exhaust, fat meats out back, well light turns green stang takes off, i fly by ranger, he tries to catch up.
Next light, i'm with the stang, i look over and say, "wanna go", he replies "Sure why not" then the ranger behind he yells to the stang "RUN HIM"
Light turns green tires chirp'n, I left the line at like 1000rpm, we are dead even all the way till my tranny shifted to thrid, then i hear a "clunk" and I leave him.
So i slow down at (of course after a few car lengths) he catches up, and i look over and say, "Miss a shift?", he says he hit the rev limiter and askes what I have under "there," I reply, Just an LS1 (bone stock). Man this mustang was clean, way clean compared to my daily driven mud on the tires( no joke) dirty @$$ Z which makes the kill even better.
anyhow, a win is a win--> is a win, good feeling when I got to work and realized that I embarassed both stang and ranger who thought I was going to lose.
