    I'm familiar with that cam. That's the 224/224 .480 lift stick. Better mid-range and a more noticeable idle than the "E".

    Its a better cam but I thought the duration was 284 or is that not at .050

    Being an old 5.0 guy I was thinking that the B303 was the more street friendly cam and required less stall on the automatics and the E303 was the big boy that was only recommended for the 5 speeds and had a much more noticeable idle. The 284 is not at .050.

    as my friend put it... the B303 is the...N/A cam... that's not über agresive... it sounds mean though...

    last night we tried that one again... only got him by a car and a half... and a 05+ Mustang joined the race, and he got raped baaaaad...by both of us...

    thanks, but the 5.0L I no longer consider a kill... cause... he's my bud, and we're trying to help him reach the point where he'll kick my ars... that'll motivate me to start putting cash in my car again!

    that's my dad's car... it's a C5 Vert 6-speed... I love the thing... it has an intake, that's it... gonna get a new clutch soon, and hopefully some exhaust...

    Nice man. I had some very noteable kills in my last Z06 but only have a brand new Challenger SRT8 under my belt on my current Z06.

    The B has more duration and a more narrow LSA than the E, as well as a choppier idle compared to the the E cam. The E-cam will give you better low-speed torque than the B with a band beginning at 2500-rpm versus the B-cam's 3500-5000 band. Both cams will work good for a manual trans, however the B will require a pretty significant stall converter. In short, the B has the edge in high-rpm power, the E has the edge in manners.

    It's been 20 years I guess I had them backwards I hate it when that happens
