turbo 300 z owned me

I had to hop around a few cars to catch up to this all white 300 z. Floated by him @ 35ish and reved to see if he'd bite. He seemed uninterested so i began to pull forward in 4th, then I heard "WWHHHRRRRRZZZZZZZZZ" and was like "fuck!" I Droped to 2nd by the time he was at my door and punched it until about 80. He was car lenghts ahead of me

WHAT HAPPENED TO 3 HONKS AND GO?????? dunno if i would have a better chance, but fuck, dont' just go without a mark

Never got to race him but a buddy of mines got one thats pretty sick. There pretty easy to mod and make some impresive times

I can't stand a riced out car, but for a Japanese car I think the 300ZX looks really good, definitely like them better than the 350Z.

I ran into one a month ago. It was all riced out and had two gigantic fart cans on the back, tall wing, etc. I wanted to mess with him but before I could line up with him he pulled the signature rice weave through the traffic instead of falling back in the open lanes.

Im one of the few pple that didnt put fart cans on my import. I have a 3 inch H-pipe on it with just regular tips hehe. Doesnt sound bad at all

i handed one his ass on a silver platter but he didnt have much done, just like exhaust, intercooler, rebuilt turbos n stuff.. nothing major... i had a turbo 240sx that had a lot of work done to it and someone tried trading me for his 300z

The 300zx is one of my favorite imports if not riced out. I've always wanted to get one to play around with.

wow...wonder what they cost to build up or are they stock "ls1 killers" ?

yeah, the one i raced was modest in appearance: all white, with black rims. interior looked kinda shitty, actually.

Stock I don't think they can beat LT1's much less LS1's. The 2 I have raced at the track were rapings and I just had a handful of boltons no headers or LS6 intake. they were supposedly stock too judging by the runs I'd agree with them.

A 300ZX with a good driver should be able to take a stock LT1. They were 300hp, solid 13-second cars. The mags were gettin' 13.8's-9s, so what does that tell ya.

That's the mags and with ideal conditions. I've seen several here locally at memphis and raced 2 personally and have yet to see one break 13's. The two I raced were like 14.3-4 ish. But I'll give credit where its due I guess 300ZX VS LT1=Drivers race. Modded though those things can be tough. Always liked them. Before I bought my first car I always said I was going to get one. Then the V8 bug hit me.

sounds like he was to scared to go form dead even start...........I test drove a 300 tt one time.......no way it beats a stock ls1

Hell no. In stock form they are 14 second cars, I've never seen a stock one break into the 13's. Its not a drag car by any means. Not even a race for an LS1, an LT1 should be able to beat one pretty easily too.

I use my 300ZX for drifting, but it would pick up some good speed. I raced a few times with it but not against V8 cept for this one 96 GT which got raped.
