It is a nice car, if I was rich I woudn't mind having one but only if I had money to waste I like my SS.
I don't really know where you are pulling $20,000 from.

The Stage 4 package is $3870 + shipping, and that should be good for high 9's.

I agree its a nice car too, I'd definitely own one if I had money to burn.

My friend said the sticker was $48k, but his uncle had to pay another $10k since there "so much in demand" so all in all he paid close to $60,000. Thats so stupid cuz you could get a new C6 and walk all over that shelby. Im sure with $60k u cud get a used C6 ZO6 and we all know what's gonna happen if they line up...

I didn't realize stage 4 came with n20 (it doesn’t by the way), and I would be willing to bet that car has the other mods you can purchase for stage 4 in the small print. Price: $3870.00 + Shipping
Add $150.00 for Xtreme Race Tune
Add $200.00 + Shipping For Pulley Puller
Add $800.00 + Shipping for 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft
Add $125.00 + Shipping For Driveshaft Loop
Add $999.00 + Shipping For the Ultimate Suspension Package
and he has wheels and tires that I also know isn't part of stage 4. I will admit it might not have $20,000 in mods but I guarantee it has at least $10,000 in witch I bet I could still come really close with the same money and a hell of a lot cheaper car.

Ok...why now all of a sudden now is the Pulley Puller, Aluminum driveshaft, driveshaft loop, and "ultimate suspension package" required?? They aren't, they are merely extras that you can add on top of the package.

The kit is about $4,000, plus nitrous. Nitrous kits are not very expensive. Just drop it already, I was just pointing out to the haters that the Shelby GT500 has a ton of potential in it too, even if its not that impressive stock. No need to turn it into a pissing match of which car is cheaper to mod

They do ahve alot to offer even if they do weigh a fuck ton. I saw a video where all they did was put a new S/C on it and a tune and made 734 rwhp with stock exhaust and everything. A 4200 pund car with 734 rwhp is still fast as fuck. There are a couple driving around here my friend Jake in his 99 Z28 took one by about 3 cars, he has 4.10s nittos on back, headers exhaust and a cam, 232/232 .590/.590 112. It was a pretty cool race. Although the Shelby was a vert.
