Sore Ford Loser

Well this kid at my school just installed a new pulley and a chip for his Lightning, adding quite a bit of power to his truck so we all decide to run one night.
From the 30 punch he stays with me until about 80 then i pull on him hard.
We then decide to run a 50 punch, Same out come. After the race he tells me, "Man we need to get the story straight." To that I reply "About what? That I won?" People like this are what make a bad name for the Ford drivers out there in my opinion

He sounds like this goombah that runs around Branson. This dude went around the muscle car circle exclaiming that if ever got beat he'd automatically put more money into his car to beat the person helost to. Well, apparently he's installing some new mods and is aiming for me. I agree, people like that are losers.

aerodynamics killed him thats why u pulled him at 80 mph

and i'd guess that its supercharged, and that by pulley he meant supercharger pulley, cuz for a 6000 lb or so truck, it'd take a whole lotta motor to hang with a LS1

I got 3.73 gears,cam, Headers, LS6 heads, borla exhaust and a stall converter

6000lbs??!!! who would race while towing something?

stock they weigh 4600-4700 lbs.

All in all I think Lightnings are pretty fast. They run pretty much the same times as us stock for stock. Every Lightning I've seen race around here would probably hand me my a$$... They pretty much kill the SRT10's weight wise. And I think ALL of them are supercharged incase anyone was wondering.

Yes the lightnings are superchared, its the same blower used on the 03/04 cobras. There is a kid with a silver one around here that i wanted to run, just never saw him around or lined up with him. I dont know how ill do though, now my car is all stock and i dont know his mods. However if it were over the summer....lol it wood be a differant story.

haha... very true. I had one revving at me this summer and it sounded like he needed a rebuild. I remember when the first ones came out all the Ford truck fans were going nuts that they finally could keep up with the 454SS. The 4X4 mud truck I had at the time blew the doors off of a 454SS so I don't see why everyone thought they were so fast then.
