Smoked a 01 cobra

weak story here but i enjoyed it. I was at the 1/8th mile track near my home with my 97 ws6 m6 nearly stock and had already made a few passes when the staging lane manager put me up against a pencil dick in an 01 cobra he looked over at me and laughed. i ran a 8.90 and he ran like a 9.2. it was a sizable margin. i dont think he was laughing after that

nice kill. kid down the street had a 96 now hes got a 01. i killed both of them.

but hes a cool guy. and hes brother has a 00 z so may be he'll grow up!

all i know is he had exhaust and was on DR's im not sure about anything else. i dont associate with homos that where polos to the racetrack.

The only Mustang that really pose any challenge to LS1's are the 03-04 Mach 1's and Cobras. Stock for stock the Mach 1 is a drivers race with an LS1, with the slight edge going to the LS1, and the Cobra is definitely faster, provided both drivers are equal.

Well I dunno...what do stock L's typically run?? C&D numbers say 13.8 @ 104MPH, which definitely isn't too much of a threat to an LS1, stock for stock.

yes, true....I was just being silly...but Lightnings have the same issue as terminators..change the pulley...awww shit
