"Slowass" gets humbled

Well...this is how it went.

No excuses, he beat me. Just filling everyone in.
There are rumors he added a small shot of nitrous. I don't buy it. I checked out the car.
Also, I was running my street wheels. Heavy Torque Thrusts. Rotational mass killed me. I am probably only a 12.3-12.4 at 115'ish' on these instead of my 11.9x at 118'ish'
Also, I took the cameraman...so add 150-160 pounds there.
The Z06 was probably 800 pounds lighter last night.

He was on BFG DR's and I was on Nitto DR's. I had a little more of a problem with traction than he did. Traction wasn't an issue where he really put distance on me though.

First two races are from inside my car. Last race is the Z06 against a Kenne Bell'd 03 Cobra. Z06 owner told me I hung better than that KB Cobra.

I need to put my car on a diet and go again. With the ProStars on it.
It was a fun evening though. He was real cool about running them, and actually was impressed with my car considering all the weight we had in it.

Damn Curtis!!! your car can beat them.. i am TOTALLY convinced now.. your thing is faster.. you had traction issues, around 800lbs heavier and hung with him like that? kick that passenger out and mount your drag wheels on and i see a dead even race with you having the edge.. (IMO) BTW.. stop hitting rev limiter

Curtis have you ever thought putting a procharger or supercharger to your car? also, around how many hp would you put down with FI?

I am clueless on the background of this race, so forgive my ignorance. Was the Z06 stock, or was it modded any? Good runs in any event

Rumors say there is a bottle on that Z06.
I looked quickly and didn't see anything.

I was told it was stock and it had BFG DR's on it. That is it.
For now, unless I find out for certain that there is a bottle on it, it is stock.

Damn that Z was fast! No shame losing to a C6 Z though. Like the others said, lose some weight, get on those drag wheels and run em again! Also, maybe get the camera guy in his car next time!

seriously, let the camera guy sit in his car to haev a fair race.. that race was not fair. you are heavier and you had the camera man.. ..nonono...

also i don't get it, that kenne bell cobra should beat him.. because generally KB cobras are like 550-600rwhp. ( correct me if i am wrong)

The Cobra was heavier than I was Friday night. Apparently having spark issues as well.
My track times have told me I can run even with a KB Cobra.

It was a perfectly fair race. I wanted it on tape, so I had the cameraman. I just didn't take my car down there in track trim.

i know z06s have LS7 engine.. so is it bigblock???
