Saturday night races

I had a few races on Sat. night. No, not at a track. Just one of the usual spots.

'89 Fox body Mustang. Full exhaust, CAI ------I beat him by 5-6 cars.
'05 SRT-4. BOV, boost controller, intake, exhaust ----me by 1 and 1/2 cars.
'93 Ford Lightning. 330rwhp N/A + 150 shot. All motor-- me by 3-4 cars.
'93 Ford Lightning. same race, but he hit the N2O ----him by 3/4 car at the 1/8th mile.
'04 Quad Cab Cummins Dodge. 520rwhp, 1121rwtq!!!---me by a nose.

All races were 1/4 mile except the bastard in the Lightning. When he hit the nitrous he leapt out on me by a car and a half, maybe two. By the eighth I was at his rear tire and still crawling up the side of his truck. He shut down. My buddy says I shouldn't even count it as being killed because it wasn't a full 1/4. I don't know. I told the guy I was pretty damn disappointed he shut down so early. He said something about not liking to run the full 1/4 where we run. I think he's full of it. Personally, I think he saw me coming and didn't want to lose.

Watch out for those diesels! He raped me out of the hole. He had me at the 1/8th too. I barely, and I mean barely, got him at the 1/4 mark.

All and all, a fun weekend.

Glad to see someone else having the same fun as me on Sat nights man! Then every Sunday I jump back on eBay and see whatelse I can slap on my car!

I wish I had the money available to do that. Right now the wife and I are saving up for our cruise in late July.
