Roush stage 2 how would i do

I pulled up next to the next to a 99-04 mustang it was a roush stage 2 but there was too much traffic to race him how would i have done? I have a pro5.0, k&n fipk, flowmaster single chamber, lca's, and a lightweight flywheel. Could i have beat him?

hey same thing here, red light he's 2 back passes with traffic but can't run to much traffic & to much daylight. i said fuck what if .

I dont think the stage 1 or 2s were that impressive.
But the stage 3 is something to watch out for so you would of either one or been a good race.

easy kill... its just suspension and body kit...

stage 3's are pretty nasty, but still 2v with 5 speed... no competition to a term cobra...

I have taken both stage 1 and 2s, the 3 is a supracharged 425hp, which i lost to by 1 car. I ran a 12.8

there is no way the new edge style stage 3's are 425... maybe 360...

Lets see the stage 1 makes 325hp at the crank they claim, they claim the stage 3 has 415hp and 385trq at the crank.

This stage 3 is the 3 valve man, this is the new rouch stage 3 im talking about, the 05+ thats the one i lost by 1 car too. The 360hp im sure i could take, that extra rouch body kit weight with that added performace part weigh and only making 360 at the crank i make about 345rwhp which is 390-400 at the crank all motor.

Stage 2's from 99-04... are basicly GT's with Intake/Exhaust... and maybe a mild tune (I THINK... could be wrong) ... along with all the body and suspension goodies...

I'm actually planning on racing one.... so... once I do i'll tell all ya'll how it went... (I will probably win by a few car lenths)...
