Get some DR's.
Even on the street it is a huge difference.
On a street tire I hit 3rd and do a LOT more than chirp them...I blow them off. 1st and 2nd are pointless on a street tire.
On my Nitto DR's, first holds unless it is cold. Bang into 2nd and it just goes.

M6 car right? Assuming so by the 5th gear comment.
I wouldn't run the MT's. I run those with my drag set-up and the Nitto DR's for my street set-up. The Nittos actually have some tread life, so I use those for normal driving.

They could.
But it isn't nearly as likely on Nittos.
MT DR's just hook....which is what breaks that 10 bolt.

I never launched on my 10 bolt hard.
It is actually just sitting in my garage. Thing is in great shape.

You'll definitely want to take it easy on your stock ten bolt, especially with the amount of power that your making. Other than PCM tuning that I did, my 98-LS1, engine wise, is bone stock. With a 3500 stall speed, and sticky tires, my ten bolt eventually went on me. With a 12 bolt, and MT's, you should be knocking on the 11's door (provided you know how to launch and bang gears).
