Old story but should give a idea of SRT8 Truck

This race happened about a year ago but figured I would share with some people. It was me vs. a SRT 10 Dodge Ram. Guy talked so much shit because he owned the bowling alley and thought the viper motor was greatest ever. I told him they are decent motors but the truck was extremely heavy for the power. Well he talked shit so I told him to back his mouth up with a $100. I waived the bill in front of his face but he said, no race for money

Well, I had my brother and my friend (friend = 240 lbs, brother = 210 lbs, me = 150 lbs) (SRT 10 driver = 200 lbs by himself) I got behind him on a old road and before I could get next to him, he nailed it (could tell by sound and black carbon smoke that poured out) So I nail it after a second and in 2nd dead even, 3rd was dead even, 4th about half way through, I started pulling like he was standing still. I had to brake at the top of 4th to stop from rear ending him. I wasn't really surprised do to the fact I had almost 500lbs extra in my car and he had a good second jump. But, I thought I would share for all of your enjoyment.

Good kills on a fast truck, especially with all that extra weight. I cant wait to race one of those, ofcourse after i put on LT's, ORY hehe. Even though its a heavy truck its very fast and i definitly wouldnt mind driving one as a DD but in the end the LS1 came through.

Its a SRT10 btw. srt4=4 cyl srt6=6 cyl. etc. etc. Yah they go pretty good for a heavy ass truck but they have a shifter out of a big rig in it and there hard to shift fast.

Like this guy said, it's an SRT-10. It has the Dodge Viper motor in it. They are big tanks. Generally do mid to high 13s in the 1/4 stock.

That would actually be cool, it weighs the same as the charger and 300c srt-8 cars.

a guy at work has a srt10,i know it has exhaust work,idk if anything else,i was waiting on getting my 3.42 gear,new trans and 3200 stall put in before i challenge him.
