It probably lightened my front end up alil? That stock, heavy, wagon wheel of a pulley sucks.

u talking about using 91 vs 93 octane? absolutely no power added one vs the other, race gas is usefull for turbo setups... na setups don't benefit from higher octane... only knowcking may go away 91 vs 93. other than that no hp gain.

well this isnt easy to explain...but yes i know that going from 91 to 93 dosent make much more power if any...but what im saying is the higher the octane the more advance you can give the car..meaning more hp usually...so in JOE BLO ls1 no it wont make more power..but if it means your tune can be more aggressive then ya id say more power will be made...but not as significant as it would be with BOOST

i think we are in agreement there... yeah 89 to 91 to 93 took care of some engine knock for most people... but yeah 100 octane can have some small advantage to NA setup, but race gas on a twin turbo supra let's say, oh yeah! 40-50rwhp difference

oh most defintitly there for sure race gas makes night and day for turbo set ups.. but im still a believer in higher octane for n/a set ups too.. so i guess this guys goin to get a retune on his mach so maybe hell do better this time. my buddy who was behind us said right before he let off and my shaft snapped i had him by a car and a half but if it gets to hairy ima race him from a dig with m/t drs and spank some ass..

Higher octane race gas burns SLOWER than lower octane gas. Your assumptions are wrong. If a car smells likes gas its running rich or its using high octane gas that is not being consumed completely.
