not a kill story but just wanted to share

alright guys like the title says this isn't a kill story but thought you would get a kick outta it. I was at the local eighth mile strip just hangin out watching my buddies race there quads, when we see a 95 or so talon getting trailored into the track. The car has every kind of sticker you could imagine on it and a 500 ft wing on the back. He unloads the car and it sounds like a typical ricer fart can. He lines up and runs an 11.02 in the eighth mile. turns out the car is a N/A front wheel drive. so i suppose contrary to popular belief the nos stickers and greddy turbo stickers really don't add that much horsepower.

Maybe he didnt have enough stickers

Funny stuff though, the car being trailered then runs 11's

on that note though......i do have to say that ive seen those things get up and go......

oh i agree they can be made fast but damn all the stickers and none of the parts now thats a ricer

Im surprised, usually stickers would give cars more power then that. I would of guess 9 secs in the 1/4 mile

C'mon guys...it's obviously... a case of TOO many stickers canceling each other out... and at the same time...all the weight from them... is making the car at least 1000 pounds heavier... LOL

Yea thats true i didnt even think about taking that in consideration. Once you duplicate so many stickers for ex intake, you cant have ingen, ebay, walmart, and what ever other ricer brands all at once.

I got beat my a early 90s eclips/talon at the local 1/8. Im only running high 8s. I knew it was going to be bad when he put the computer down and put his helmet on. Whats really bad about it was he beat me by about half a second. It took his car almost 2 seconds to shift after it rapped out. I auctually thought I was going to chase him down, Then he took off like a rocket.
Later he told me scewed up his program, the car didnt like his new shift points and he was trying to get back down in the mid sevens.
He had me fooled...he had no stickers...thought I could win...didnt know what I was in for until it was too late
