Presuming you're running a full 1/4 mile, it shouldn't be close at all unless you completely cook the tires on the launch!
2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

i have driven many different northstar powered caddies and you shouldnt have a thing to worry about, unless you give him a 990ft head start and you run to a 1/4 mile

Just to give ya an idea how they run. My buddy has one,,,,the largest of the Caddy fleet, a 4-door land barge and he runs the thing all the time.
Runs 15.20's at 92 mph.
You didn't mention what style caddy,,,,if it's a smaller (lighter) version I would expect it to run a tad quicker,,,maybe a very high 14 or so.
With that said I would think there isn't a 4th gen stock or otherwise that should have a problem with one of these.

I'd put some money down on this race cause it'll be the easiest money you've ever made. If he's that confident, put a couple hundred.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro SS hard top
damn i thought this thread was going to be a northstar in somthing besides a caddy, like the one stuffed in the back of a fiero that i know of. If the guy thinks he's going to beat you buy 5 lengths i would put more money on it than $55, at least $100

Yeah when you said northstar i was thinking the new STS supercharged northstar or the XLR or XLR-V something that is a real challenge

I think you need to get your bottle out for this one man... I don't know... You're racing a fucking sts 1995 cadillac! Those things are beastly! Northstar! Bring the slicks too... I heard they're awd too, no f'n joke...
Ok, you'll absolutely kill him. my buddy had one and he wanted to roll race me from like 50 and I swear he shifted to reverse when I shifted to 2nd...
