Yea I like the cobras too but I rather have a mach 1, they respond so well to mods, they have the same engine as the cobra just minus the supercharger but has a real nice shaker for ram air. With just intake and exhaust they will roll a cobra.

No they wont roll a cobra with just intake and exhaust, i have raced many mach 1s with just exhaust and taken them. As for the cobra not so much. They are my favorite mustang, but they dont roll cobras.

One of my friends down here has an 03 mach 1 mustang, A4 with a cold air intake and I think a H-pipe. He took out a cobra... the guy with the cobra is a pretty good driver I seen him out at the track a few times. He is also a mecanic so im sure he wouldnt run his car if it was running bad or something, also he had no excuse he admitted the mach 1 rolled him.

I wanted a Mach 1 before I started looking at Camaros, I really like the shaker hoods.

If it was a Pre 03 cobra yeah but not a 03 04 with the S/C. The mach 1 runs a mid 13 qurter mile and the cobra a mid 12 quarter mile so you are telling me that the mach 1 drops 1 second i nthe quarter mile with just exhaust and intake. Plus its a auto idk, I test drove both the 5 speed and the auto and the auto felt soo much slower, i could only chirp the tires off the line. I ahve also drivenm a cobra and they dont compare stock. If he did beat a cobra it wasnt supercharged

A mach 1 with intake and exhaust wont run with a 03 or 04 cobra. Time to put the crack pipe down.

I am pretty sure it was a supercharged one, I think it was an 04 cobra. I will try to double check on that. But it really did seem that the mach 1 got a lot faster with the intake and exhaust. I know that car before and after he got the mods. But again I will try to find the cobra and see what it has

maybe the driver had a bad run. I almost got beat by a stripped out 02 Mustang GT because I had a bad start. then i hooked the second time and got him no problem.

Even if the cobra granny shifted it still should have won 100rwhp is alot over the exact same car otherwise. The mach 1 and cobra have simular rear end setups, they weigh almost the same. Its like 2 2002 Trans ams racing but one has heads and a cam.
