My first kill - 2010 Mustang GT

I made my first kill the night I bought my car, my buddy just bought a 2010 Mustang and gave me a ride to buy my 1998 Trans Am A4. On the way back home he pulled next to me on the highway and motioned that he wanted to run. So I let him jump on it and get about half a car link on me and then I stomped on it. We were running about 60 and I had pulled a car link on him by the time we were around 90 or so. He was not very happy.

220/220 551/551 114 pretty mild but makes good torque

Right on, have been looking real hard between 3 different cams, one of which is the TRex... heard it's the best for factory 5.7 heads/intake, and loves the jug.

Have you thrown the dope to yours yet?

No I have not, I bought it last week and I am waiting on a new alternator as it had a bad one. I do not plan to add any juice to it, I may go with an ls6 intake and go with that for a while. The car drives really good with that cam, great driveablity(if that's even a word..lol).

Very nice kill, I KNOW your buddy was not pleased. Poor lil 15 year old LS1, still killing Mustangs with only a cam change. And yes, driveability is a word!

Yes it was nice taking him down, we have a buddy who has an lt1 formula and now my buddy with the 2010 gt is nervous about messing around with him. I used to own mustangs but its fun being on the other end of things. I think it all started when I first got my butt handed to me in my old GT by a turbo Trans Am. I did not know he had a turbo until he let me get about a car length or more ahead and then I heard him spool up and I knew what I had got myself into as he slaughtered me.

^^^I'm old.......and I play sometimes. I just try to be aware of the surroundings before it happens. However, I usually floor it at least once, every time in the car.
