Pewter- 99 Camaro SS M6
My first ever stang bang
Picked up my SS this past Saturday.
On the way home from work today I saw a bright yellow 2002 style mustang in front of me on the freeway.
Flew by him to see if he wanted to play, seconds later he weaved through some traffic and was on my rear bumper so it was obvious he was willing to go.
Living in So Cal we had to wait for our spot with the least amount of traffic, so we ran side by side for a few seconds, until there was a huge opening, I let him hit it first then I stomped on it, he must have been bone stock because I absolutely walked away from him and he was a spec in the mirror.
The best part was he had his girl with him and prby felt really silly!
He came up behind me later as I was cruising at normal speeds but he would NOT pass me.
As the freeways split and we went our separate ways, I glanced over to see him staring at my car, as soon as I made eye contact he looked away.
This car is AWESOME!
First stang in the books.....

Nice. They just dont have the displacement. First muscle car i rode in was a 5.0. I loved it. Next ride was me driving a ls1,m6. Faster. Be careful out there. I heard they crush cars in cali.

Nice kill man, yeah a 2002 wouldn't even come close. You'd have the same result with the next gen too. Mustang guys aer generally in their own world. Nothing against people who like them, a car fan is a friend of mine, but they generally just think differently to put it nicely
Maybe he just wanted to see your car in action and appreciates LS1s? Hope he explained to his girl that he was about to lose if that's the case haha.2002 Black/Ebony M6 WS6: Lid, Filter, Smooth Bellow, P&P TB (!Bump Stop), Magnaflow Cat-Back (dumped after the axle), 4.10s, Hypertech ME Tune, eibach springs 4/4, LCA relocating brackets, PHB, free mods, 17" TTMs.
