My 2001 Z vs 2004 Mach 1(5 speed)

okay so i was sitting at home one night watching tv and the neighbor came down to the house and asked if i wanted run his 2004 Mach1, i thought he was jk because every othber time i would ask him to race he said no but would talk shit constantly so i asked him if he was serious and he said yes so i agreed and i walked up to his house and he told me he had just got a new exhaust system on his car and wanted to see what it would run against my car. so i told him i'd race him, about 5 minutes later we head out to an old road and ran three races 2 of them were rolls and last one from a dig. the rolls were from 45mph and did the 3 honk dea and he jumped me on the second honk he gets a ahead about a fender and i start pulling on him win by a car. the second race he didn't jump and i beat him by 1 1/2-2 cars. the last race was from the dig an i killed him out of the whole, and won by 4 cars.

Very nice kill. Those cars are fast, and they want to see how they hold up to the 14 year old GM LS1. I'd say that the exhaust probably sounds better on his Mach than ours does tho!

it does i got a B4C(Police1 of 160) package. It is a hard top, Automatic. The vehicle was a Police interceptor for the North Carolina State Police department. It is a virgin car and has very minimal things done to it. Extras LS6 Intake SS wheel with 275/40/17 SLP Line Lock and Hooker Aero chamber muffler. But i think im goin to put some flowmasters on it like i had on my 2002 z28

nice kill bro, the mach 1's are fast tho with there termi heads and 3.55 gears. I just race one the other day and was surprise on how fast they were, and they sound hella good

the one i race had a exhaust that cut's down at the axle so it was loud as fuck. you could't even here mind and mind has a slp loud mouth on it

Dude - start with long tube headers and sub-frame connectors - you'll feel a HUGE difference in the seat of your pants.

I've only had a run in with one mach 1 but spent many saturday nights racing him time and time again. He was on the kit, I had headers and a cat-back, even factory 3.42s. Can't tell you how many times I walked him, just because he couldn't drive. He swore I was on the kit. Those things run damn good, I wanted nothing more than to swap cars for ONE RACE, and show him how it's really done

Even though I would've laid the smack down on my own car

ya thats the only thing i dont'tike about mustang drivers, they always have excuses when they lose lol
