Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Pontiac Trans AM
My 00 T/A vs 01 Stang Gt whats the outcome??
Well I'm supposed to be racing my cousin's friends mustang from a dig and a roll next weekend, and supposedly its "Fast". His mods include Cai,4.11's,tb,LT headers,x-pipe and a chip its a 5spd. And my mods are Lid,S3,Magnaflow Exhaust and its a 6spd. What could be the outcome?

Does he have drag radials to go with those gears? And how well can he launch and drive it? I would say that you will win the roll pull. My friend has an 04 gt with a KB supercharger on it, along with 3:73's and drag radials. Without my spray its really close from a roll, I even pull a bit in 4th, but from a dig he spanks me hard due to me just having street tires, and him being an excellent driver with drag radials.

I cant imagine you losing honestly. We start off as low to mid 13 second cars... they start off high 13/low 14 second cars. He defiantly freed up some ponies by letting the car breathe better... and changing the gearing to accelerate faster... but that better be some magic chip if he beats you lol. You may have less mods, but u start off with MUCH more power and you arent completely stock.

You should kill him from a roll. Despite having far less power he should still put up a good fight if you go from a stop with those gears. Those cars are about 80hp short to start with.

he should be putting down well under 300 hp to the wheels; his 230 stock should be hampered by his gearing and helped by the lts and tb and tune but no way he's picked up 70 hp without a cam on that car. your car, on the other hand, should be packing around 300-320 since its an m6 stock and the lid and catback alone should have you in the 330-350 range. is an s3 a shaner 3 tb? if so i would hope you'd be putting around 340 at least to the wheels - but in any case you should be showing him your taillights with ease everywhere except the line; where it will be a driver's race as always. go easy at first and catch him if you want to just try not to spin the tires and you should run him down pretty easy.

As stated, you should win both. From my experience, they can be pretty quick outta the hole, but just try not to spin too badly and you should pull easily. Good luck and record it!!!

As others said, from a dig it will be close but as speeds increase you'll just pull harder and harder.

wow lets all just keep repeating the same shit for a long ass time. it's unanimous - the only way not to win is to spin! kick some ass, take a name or two and report back to let us know you had a great time.
