If only this were about 1 year ago. I lived in Tampa with my wife before we moved back to my home state of California.

In that case I would of ran my T/A against your LS1-power 240, that would have been a good one. You honestly could go quicker in that car, I was confused as to why you were only in the high 11's with that kind of weight?

IRS, wheel hop, car not dialed in (only had 3 runs), among other things. The car is trapping at 118, so it's about right, maybe even better for a bolt ons LS1 with my weight. These cars are a lot more difficult to launch right than an F-body. I generally look at the trap and can gauge what the car could do "if" dialed in. To be honest I really didn't swap the car to drag it. The car is sitting on coilovers with some suspension work for handling purposes. The car is rediculously fun to slid though... not that I'm a "drifter" or anything.

Looks to me like your car is dialed in. running 11s@113 is pretty much putting ALL your power down and good driving...... however I trap higher so I'd pull you eventually, but that's more due to the weight than the powerplant.

Plus my vehicle weight plays an extreme factor.

Have you done weight reduction? That's a crazy fast time for an F-body with bolt ons. Back in the day when I had my F-body I could only get low 13s with bolt ons, full interior though.

Yes, lots of weight reduction. The bolt-on LS1 record is actually 10.6 @ 122 ('01 Formula).

That is crazy. I didn't think you could take out 1000+ pounds of stuff out of an F-body.

How much does your car weigh with the weight reduction?

Well I think everyones idea of "BOLT ONS" are different.

Typically a bolt on in my book is considered something you can do in an afternoon, only simple hand tools required, and generally refered to as parts on the outside that are easily accessable etc.... This can get into suspension parts as well but for the most part does not require a ton of technical skill or know how. It's pretty much generally accepted this way in many magazines you read and is portrayed as such.

But some people get inside the motor with camshafts, cylinder heads, tearing engines down to bare short blocks and really go to extremes and say,,,,oh ya it's just a bolt on car

The line has to be drawn somewhere to really grasp what people are accomplishing here.

I would've wrecked too if I saw an LT1 T/A coming up behind me. Is the car a 95 or 98+ cause your info says 95 and your pic shows 98+ front end.
