Mustang, ricer double murder and vette loss

Hey guys, I took my bird to the yard today, and on the way home a mustang gt came out of a carwash. As I passed he made shure he was going to make his turn so he can be close to me. I immediately noticed it and kept a close eye on him. by the looks it looked like it had apperance upgrades and a Ram air hood lol, it was a 2000+ mustang but nothing special, other than the cosmetic upgrades and a decent paint job. so he follows me for a while Up untill loop 1604 where I turned left ( I went out of my way because he was following to close) so i wait for him, and he thinks it twice or so i thought because it took him a while to line up with me. so we eventually line them up and this guys doesnt wait for the honks he takes off ( I was in 4th doing 50) so I floor it aswell, his early start was futile he had no advantage I was creeping up withing the first hundred feet. at 80 I had my rear tail lights on him at 100 I have a car. As I am going for the second car a riced out civic that was on the mustangs lane steps on it. I didnot see where he came from but other than that I kept going and the mustang changed lanes so by 120 I have three busses on both, the civic ruined it for the stang but he was loosing anyway. but out of nowhere I see a nice red vette (it still had retractable headlights so it might of been a c5 dont know much about vette generations) he runs right past the stang and the civic lol, he eventually catches up to me and me made a turn around on marbach rd. So we lined them up and three honks were off. from 50-100 we pull evenly untill he gets his nose on me by 140 he had a car on me so I let off as we were coming back onto potranco. I gave him a thumbs up and made the turn around and went into walmart. he followed and we ended up talking on the parking lot, He was cammed his engine had Ls1 fuel rail covers but it had a distributor so it might of been an LT4??? he met the mustang driver at the carwash through harsh braggin from the stang driver. He was mentioning his (stang) mods: CAI, Exhaust and X-pipe and that he was going to race the stang but when he said yes, the stang driver took off on him lol. but I got him though.

Nice kills. You dont know if it was an LS1 C5 though? From your description it sounds like it was.

1997 Vette it looked like an LS1 but it had newer fuel rail covers.

Yeah .. The Internet is NOT the forum to discuss America's inability to properly use it's own language...
Odd too, America is the ONLY country in the world that TEACHES it's own language for All of the educational curriculum. Yet, eighty percent of our population cannot use it with anything close to correct form and function.
Add to that, most of them get horribly upset when you point out their failure.
To the OP.. Good Runs !! All I get here is Hondatards and Eurotrash..

I thought you could build a carb'd version and run a distributor etc ?
Not arguing with you, just curious if I was mistaken.

No expert here either, but I know you can run a carb setup. As far as distributer goes...where are you gonna put the hole in the block for it? Then you have to put a gear on the cam, etc...I'm pretty sure people using carb setups on an lsx platform just use some sort of ignition controller

Anyone else who knows more/ has experience please chime in...

The people not writing good sentences makes things hard to follow and understand, maybe by letting them know they will write better next time. Kids, they know it all.

It was a joke....Obviously being older doesn't aid in your understanding of sarcasm.

We all joke around on here man, so to say that you "see why people like "me" are here," is a very inaccurate perception of "me" or "this forum."
