    I swear You Tube makes me feel like the smartest person in the world sometimes. If it wasn't for the videos...

    you have some believers here man,there are alot of cobra groupies that think they are unbeatable

    it is all about the driver and even with an equal driver the ls1 will not get beat by much stock for stock and same tranny

    Stock for stock w/ equal drivers there should be a nice gap inbetween. A stock 03/04 Cobra is surely capable running in the 12.80 range @ 112, versus an average LS1 in the 13.4@107 range. There's roughly around a 1/2 second difference there. But when you put a bolt-on LS1 up against a Cobra driver that doesn't know how to get all that power to the ground it can be a different story.

    yeah i do agree with you in the quarter i did forget to mention that i was referring to the 1/8 mile where the gap is not as bad but still a good gap

    I was skeptical because he passed him going towards top end, I would think a Cobra would have the advantage there. Anything can happen though.

    I've only raced one LS1 Fbody when I was 100% stock.. 01 Camaro SS 6 speed coupe vs my 03 Cobra coupe, we were even from a 40 roll till I started pulling away in 4th gear..

    wouldn't be a contest now, since I have some of the more "normal" mods 2.8" pulley and tune.. oh on a dynojet I made 372 hp and 365 torque to the ground 100% stock..

    now I did have a LS1 powered car when I was in Hawaii.. 98 Targa C5, with auto and 2.73 gears.. 100% stock it ran 13.55@103.96 2.15 60 ft at HRP.. awesome car, but definitely not as quick as my 03 Cobra I have now.

    I would expect those kind of numbers from any blown V8.

    I think the LS1 is a well build car cuz even tho it may be a bit slower stock motor than the Cobra they need a supercharger to compete with us!! LS1 supercharged vs Cobra supercharged?? You get the picture!

    I love my car and wouldn't consider anything else, but I am a little jealious about the room in the stang engine bays allowing a wider selection of S/C's without any major fabrication.

    The Cobra most likely needed a driver mod. Terminators aren't the easiest cars to drive.

    We'll see who could handle the most boost and most power"REMEMBER WE GOT THE FORGED MOTORS!!!" The 03-04 cobras were made low compression and the super charger is there to make up for the low compression, and LSlows are made with high compression and built to make the power all motor, they are(PUSH ROD VS. MODULAR) and WE GOT THE FORGED MOTORS!!!

    GET DA PICTURE NOW!

    ^ I love me a good Termi, but that is why I won't buy one. First off, I wouldn't want forged from the get go. I would want to buy my own. I am going to buy my own, from a better aftermarket company, the best they make.

    LS1 = 1
    Termi = 0

    No replacement for displacement is the bottom end.

    LS1 = 2
    Termi = 0

    Looks, could go either way. I think the Termi's look crazy sweet.

    LS1 = 3
    Termi = 1

    Just my .02. I may own a Cobra some day, when my Maro is complete how I want it. Aftermarket is the way to go, for parts. I wouldn't want my motor, S/C or Forged, I would want to do it myself. Again, not hating, just IMHO.

    I should also note, that I have a mechanic that I work with that does all my work dirt cheap. So forging my bottom end, when I do my 383 won't be too bad at all. Motor rebuild for prolly $500 or so, not including parts.
