That wasn't what I was replying. I was speaking on the fact that the LS1 stock shortblock is limited, as opposed to his buddies '03 that has been proven to handle over 700rw on stock internals. A future Kenne-Bell swap would put him leagues ahead of a stock internal LS1.

if you put a 150 shot on a slightly modded ls1
it's gonna take a kenne belle for the cobra to come back or atleast some spray of his own

you are going to want to look at the "vindicator" or anything larger then that.

dont expect these results all the time but i see 430 on up with this cam and boltons. With the fast 90 the dyno results would be higher. But with a baasic lid, free mod, longtube, true dual car with a vindicator cam you are looking at 430+ cam only.

    hadnt seen that yet
for a cam only man that is sweet
hell if you did a good port and polish job on your stock heads with that cam
    it would be ruthless
i might have to check into that myself

yes the Vindicator is no joke. That's the cam my bro runs in his '98, along with a Forged 6.0 block, DynoTune 2-stage wet kit, and over 700rw.

You can easily run 25lbs with octane and make up for that without N20 since most guys are only running 17-19lbs on street tunes and 590-620rwhp. Then youre good for 135+ traps. D1 would be the way to go with an LSX. I was just starting to build another SS. Forged, MS3/PRC w/D1 or 200 shot. Changed my mind and I am selling it. Im going for another 03-04 Cobra w/ 3.4 Whipple. I cant stand a cam lope.

    That 3.4 will be nasty. I'm preparing a 2nd block for a 250-shot and 9-second E.T.'s myself.

250shot! Your car is gonna be tough man. Isnt it scary we need this much power to be competitive? Very scary.

you know what, it really is. Unlike the old days there are a lot of truly fast cars out there now.

Nuts, I can't imagine more than a 100-125 shot. 75 pulls well enough. Anything more and , well , have fun, that is just way too much pull for a daily driver.

The fact that nitrous isn't always there also has an upside to it! The kit that I have is actually adjustable to 350-hp. Direct port is the way to go as far as nitrous is concerned.

Hell I prefer 600-700rwhp or more for a DD, until it rains.

I agree. I'm sitting at a little over 500 right now. Can't wait to see Force Fed Performance on thursday (250-shot + tune). It will be nice to see over 600-rear wheel from an LT1. And the torque...oh boy.

Thats gonna be tough. You have 1 or 2 N20 bottles in the car? Youre gonna run right through 1 bottle at a 250 shot. Its gonna be fun though.

Two 15 lb. bottles mounted on top of the hump over the fuel tank. Keith @ Force Fed created this combo for me. His old '93 Formula made over 600-rw with this setup.

Back to the topic...found this. The F-body is very close to what you've got, puts down 348rwhp as listed by the owner in the comments section. He runs a 100-shot. Cobra is X-pipe, cat-back, tune, Pulley.
