thanks guys! i was pretty proud that i hung as well as i did but man ls1's rip at higher speeds. headers, gears, better tires, and a tune should do the trick, but id like to see the difference just a tune would make

the video goes a little longer on the race from the 20 roll i let out at 110 he went to 130 but at no time while i was on it did he have more than 3 cars on me. so it wasnt super bad seeing thats not a good race for me. and in the dig race i held him off for all of first so i think i did ok clearly he has the faster car but its nothing that cant be made up

I raced an lt1 at infineon with hooker shortys, exhaust and an intake, he ran consistent 13.3's topping at 13.25. My stock ls-1 is stock and ran 13.46. It was a damn close race, i'm a nube and my reaction time sucks but the car makes up for me. But just a tune alone wont make that big a difference against the ls-1. I'm returning with a home fabricated ram-air, need to scare the shit out of this guy next time I see him.

yea once I'm halfway thru second gear I start pulling away from my buddies 97 z28.....I'ts still more fun racing him than the stupid ricers/stangs around here though!
