I went to the Thunder Shootout with a bunch of my buddies with ls cars.

First i ran my friend.....01 SS Auto(3200 stall, smooth bellows, lid, lts) went 12.7@109. We went from a 20 on the way there and we were dead till 120. On the track it was a different story. My 13.4@104 to his 12.7@109

Second was a fully bolted 02 T/A with Mo 12 bolt, LCAs etc, Fast 90/90 setup. We went from a 40 on the way there and we were even till 105 then he started pulling......had me by 3+ cars till 145. Then we were slowing down to turn on the track road and his left rear tire fell off!!!!!!!

I was 20ft behind him!! Luckily it flew away from his car and no one was coming!! Luckily for him it landed on his Controll Arm and didnt damage anything!!!!He broke all 5 studs!!! He went to autozone and got new studs and nuts and ended up running a 11.6@119!!!!!

Finally i ran a grudge race against my friends Mach 1. Programmed and X-pipe. We went the first time i pulled a .053 R/T and he red-lighted. We both ran 13.4@104. Then the second run i had a .068 R/T to his .042 and he beat me. i ran a 13.6@103, and he went a 13.3@104. Good runs!!!

All in all i am disapointed in my car!!! 75 degrees with moderate humidity i figured id be trapping 108ish. Im going this weds if the weather is cold.

Yea we run all the time. Hes got a 04 Cobra as well(11.6@116) But he brings the Mach out to run me most of the time. Its a blast racing someone that closely matched

i agree , i love to spank cars by bus lengths but its soo much better when its a shifting race and whomever has more skills gets kills..and when a new mod is installed you can race the same dude and see what youv really gained...

hell yeah i heard those things free up alot detonation, you can turn your boost up for the occasion ,right......how would that work, you dont need timing adjustments...re tune ..what

Advance my timing up 2 degrees and i can run 24 lbs. I was running 24lbs right after i got my boost leak fixed and it pulled really strong but would get heat soaked really easy. So with the meth it wouldnt be that bad. Ill prolly run about 22lbs just too be safe

12.7 in an auto SS is a great time, with only those mods listed, does he run this consistantly?

Yea pretty consistant. He netted a 11.9@112 last weds. He put a FMS 224 cam in it

mach 1 mustang , i can talk shit with no car...beezie......my gsxr is a way diffrent kind of fast....i gotta get use to it....but im sure it can run 10's if i launch like a man......still scurred!

nice bike. Dont wreck it. Most people get way stupid with bikes, when they first get em, before they are skilled. Bikes are crazy fast, but dangerous!!
Remember all the laws of physics when riding it.

I dont know much about bikes. I prefer 4 wheels on the road when I drive.
What CC is it? 900? 1000?

oh yes im gonna be carefull.....i know 2 guys who lost legs and one that is dead, from these bikes....im not as good on a bike as i am in a car .....not nearly....in a car i feel i can drive any car to its limits....im too scared of testing this things limits..........my 155 lb ass feels like a sheet in the wind at wot.....no joke
