Killed myself!
So this is a good one. I just got back from Wildwood NJ after an awesome weekend. My friend Matt and I were going back and forth all weekend over whose car would win in a race his 05 Lightning or my Z/28. I get home around 7 drop the girlfreind off and proceed to drive home. At some point in time I decide it would be a great idea to practice my launch before I race my friend. So I stop in the middle of the road. Take first gear to 5500 slam it into second and . My clutch decides it would be a good place to die. 30 seconds from my house! I thought I broke somthing in the trans the way it sounded so I decided to have it towed to the dealer praying my warranty would cover it. She only has 45k! SO they drop the trans and charge 500 only to tell me it is a clutch and they want $720 in parts for the stock clutch. So I am getting a New LS7 clutch setup for $550 of the internet. (not sure if they are a sponsor) I'll let you guys know how that one goes.

04 sorry! Yeah I didn't drop the clutch at 3k I just wound out first gear and it didn't engage into second and grenaded! I heard alot of good things about the ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel. And the price is def right. I was gonna go the centforce route but i still needed a new flywheel etc... and this way was cheaper.

I was wondering how long it would take you fry your clutch.

Yeah you called it alright! It was like 2 weeks after I first got the car. I still had the front plate and paper tag in the window I def wanna go to the track and see that TA run when I get my car back toghter and take it easy for 500+miles and wear the clutch in. I am gonna take pics of the old clutch and flywheel. It should be funny. If you break somthing put somthing cooler in.
